Longtime community activist Pierre Jimenez died Monday morning after a long illness. He was 59.
He passed away at his mother’s home, the northwest Denver house his father built. Jimenez suffered from diseases of the liver and kidneys since 2006, his family said.
Among several accomplishments, Jimenez headed the Police Community Partnership and served on the Denver Police Review Committee.
