Almosta Mercantile, for 14 years a bedrock anchor in the East Fourth Street retail zone, will close after a sale that begins today.

Owner and founder Amy White, one of the most creative and civically involved among downtown Loveland retailers, said she has no specific plans for a next endeavor.

White spent Thursday making arrangements for a merchandise liquidation sale — the “It’s All Good, We’re Movin’ On Sale” — which begins today with 30 percent discounts on every Almosta item.
