COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—An unoccupied small plane has caught fire at the Colorado Springs airport, but firefighters extinguished the blaze and no injuries have been reported.
The Colorado Springs Gazette reports the plane caught fire Saturday morning while it was parked between hangars. The cause hasn’t been determined.
The fire was doused by crews from Peterson Air Force Base, which shares a runway with the municipal airport.
No disruptions of civilian or military flights were reported.
