Investigators released photographs today of a man who tried to rob a Denver bank.
The attempted robbery happened at about 3:50 p.m. Monday at the Compass Bank, 800 Broadway, according to an FBI media release.
The would be robber handed a note to a teller demanding money but he did not receive any before fleeing.
Investigators describe the suspect as a Latino man, between the ages of 25 to 30, about 5-feet 9-inches tall and 160 pounds with a slender build and an unshaven face.
Anyone with information on the attempted robbery, or who may recognize the suspect in the photo, is asked to call the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force at 303 629-7171; or tipsters can remain anonymous and earn up to $2,000 for information leading to a conviction by calling Crimestoppers at 720 913-STOP (7867).
