A pedestrian was injured this morning in a hit and run traffic incident in Denver.
At 7:48 a.m. Denver police received a telephone call on the hit and run at East 18th Avenue and Park Avenue, said Lt. Matt Murray, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
The woman suffered a serious head injury and was taken to Denver Health Medical Center, Murray said.
A black sedan hit the woman and the driver didn’t stop, Murray said. Police are looking for the driver.
