Getting your player ready...

At Nuggets practice today at Pepsi Center, the training staff confirmed that guard Arron Afflalo (hamstring) will be a game-time decision for Sunday’s opening playoff game at Oklahoma City. However, all other Nuggets players are expected to play. This includes Timofey Mozgov, the reserve center who suffered an ankle injury on April 5 and hasn’t played since.

Coach George Karl didn’t elaborate on his team’s health or lineup, but he confirmed that he is still considering starting Ty Lawson and Raymond Felton together in the backcourt. The two point guards have often played together, but never as starters.

Afflalo had been Denver’s starting shooting guard, but has missed much of March and April. Karl had been starting Wilson Chandler at shooting guard, but it’s quite possible he’ll go with Lawson and Felton in the backcourt, Danilo Gallinari at small forward and Kenyon Martin and Nene in the low-post.
