The man hit and killed by a semi on I-25 on Friday was identified today as Bradley Malone Calhoun, 48, of Thornton.
Police said Calhoun walked into the northbound lane in the 12100 block of I-25 from the center median barrier around 5 a.m.
Witnesses saw him rolling on the roadway, into the path of oncoming traffic, according to police.
The driver of the semi stopped and waited at the scene until authorities arrived, Thornton police said.
Calhoun was pronounced dead at the scene.
