Getting your player ready...
LARAMIE, Wyo.—New Wyoming coach Larry Shyatt has announced his first recruit, signing a 6-foot-8, 222-pound forward from Denver to a national letter of intent.
Tyrone Marshall averaged 15 points, nine rebounds and six blocked shots per game his senior year at George Washington High School.
He recorded three triple-doubles his senior season in points, rebounds and blocked shots.
Shyatt says Marshall has good quickness and leaping ability and can become a high-level player if he works hard.
Shyatt took the head coaching job at Wyoming on March 31. He replaced Heath Schroyer, who was fired during the past season.
