Marcelo Ochoa-Sanchez, 29, will face a first-degree murder charge in the death of his wife, which the Denver district attorney’s office on Tuesday called “a brutal domestic-violence murder.”
Karen Escobar, 28, was stabbed to death April 12. Police said a violent argument moved from their apartment into the street in the 5000 block of East Donald Avenue, where Escobar was stabbed numerous times.
Ochoa-Sanchez is being held without bail in the Denver Detention Center.
