Colorado Springs police reportedly followed a trail of blood from a broken church window early this morning to a bleeding 17-year-old.
Neighbors reported suspicious activity at the Lighthouse Baptist Church at 4280 Hopeful Drive at about 4 a.m. today, police said.
Police arrived and found two broken windows, then followed a trail of blood a short distance to find a suspect. The teen was taken to a local hospital, but his cuts were described as serious but not life-threatening.
He is being held on suspicion of burglary and criminal mischief, police said.
Nothing was stolen from the church.
