A 73-year-old homeopathic doctor in Eagle County was arrested today on charges he sexually assaulted a child who was a patient at an Edwards spa and clinic.
Alfred Bamberger, an Edwards resident, had “inappropriate contact” with the patient, whose age and gender was not released, at the Finis Boni spa and clinic in Edwards, which offers acupuncture, yoga, Pilates, meditation and body-sculpting laser treatments.
Records indicate the alleged offense happened on Feb. 14 and that the victim was between 15 and 18 years old.
Bamberger was released today on $10,000 bond and is forbidden from having contact with anyone younger than 18 or go to places where children are likely to be found, according to the Eagle County Sheriff’s Department.
