Larimer Square has been a major eating and entertainment zone of late, but with the recent opening of five additional stores, it has upped its fashion quotient, as well.

Moda, which sells men’s clothing, sportswear and accessories has a new store at 1459 Larimer. From suits and ties to jeans and shirts, Moda can dress men for a variety of occasions. Owner Jon Johnson has another store at the Landmark shops in Greenwood Village. Johnson and general manager Lamont Peoples have more than 50 years in the retail clothing industry. Reach them at 303-862-5949.

Four shops have also opened in The Walkway, at 1423 Larimer St. The shops are located indoors in the walkway that connects the Larimer Square Parking Garage on Market Street with Larimer Street. The shops are just 400-700 square feet but stocked with fashion merchandise. They include:

Denim One, selling designer jeans for men and women from such labels as Fidelity, Paige and Genetic Denim, a variety of tops, and handbags, including colorful print designs by Orla Kiely. Stephanie Brown is the owner. 720-328-9138;

Arabella Boutique, specializing in costume and handmade jewelry, in an affordable range of prices from $5 to $300. The eclectic assortment, picked by owner Sasha Mora, also includes scarves, hats, hair accessories, candles and gifts. 303-623-2140;

Brittney Lynn, a collaboration between Brittney Holobinko and Hillary Lynn, women in their 20s who are selling a colorful assortment of gift items and accessories. Baby shower gifts include Silly Soles shoes that come three to a set, blankets and toys. This is also a good spot for home-accent gifts, jewelry, candles and lotions from Pre de Provence, Butter London and Royal Apothic. 720-379-7533;

LaFame Boutique, from owner Elizabeth Mitera, with a sophisticated fashion sense but offering designer looks at reasonable prices from such lines as Michael Tyler, Angel Italy, Belldini, Tribal and KUT. She carries club and evening clothes, as well as looks that would work at the office. Handbags, belts, jewelry and scarves round out the mix. 720-524-6390;
