The Colorado chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame will have six inductees at its gathering May 14 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Colorado Springs.
The 13th annual awards dinner also will feature representatives of the state’s top college, high school and youth wrestlers.
Robert Conklin of Denver will receive the Outstanding American Award. Walsenburg’s Ina Gomez, Manzanola’s Bill Hodges, Ponderosa’s Tim Ottmann, right, Gilcrest’s Gary Sandau and Broomfield’s Mark Schmidt will be cited for lifetime achievement.
