A driver who died in a single-car crash in Clear Creek Canyon has been identified.
The fatal crash happened about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 6 near Tunnel One, according to the Colorado State Patrol. A 1998 Chevrolet Lumina ran off of the highway and rolled into Clear Creek.
The driver was identified this morning as Ronald Bruner, 51, of Arvada.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
