A man was seriously injured when he was hit by a U-Haul truck while crossing Colfax Avenue on Sunday night.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was walking northbound across Colfax near Interstate 25 around 10:15 p.m. when he was hit by the westbound truck, Denver police Spokesman Sonny Jackson said.
He was taken to Denver Health with life-threatening injuries.
The case will be turned over to the district attorney’s office to determine if criminal charges should be filed against the truck driver, Jackson said.
There is no crosswalk in the area where the man was crossing.
