INDIANAPOLIS — Officials said Wednesday that five illegal immigrants arrested during a protest at Gov. Mitch Daniels’ office on an immigration bill won’t be deported.
A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement statement said it “was not the best use of the agency’s resources” to try to deport them.
