COLORADO SPRINGS — Businessman Steve Bach, who pledged to bring jobs to Colorado Springs, has won a runoff election for mayor.

The 68-year-old commercial real estate broker had a big lead Tuesday night and opponent Richard Skorman conceded the race.

Bach will have broader powers than his predecessors when he takes office June 7 because of a change in government that gives the mayor more authority.
