A dispute over control of the exclusive Cordillera Golf Club residential golf community in Edwards has landed in Eagle County District Court.
Owner David Wilhelm filed a lawsuit Tuesday seeking at least $96.5 million in damages. The suit says that after club management told members about a looming budget shortfall last year, disgruntled Cordillera members and homeowners urged other members to withhold dues and boycott facilities, allegedly as part of a plot to acquire the club for themselves at a lower price.
