Art in the park Check out the newly renovated Bond Park as you stroll through the 12th annual Art Market in Estes Park today through Monday. This juried fine-art show is presented by the Art Center of Estes Park and spotlights stained glass, oil paintings, watercolors, pottery, fiber art, handbags and jewelry by dozens of artists. It’s raining cats and dogs The adoption fee for all dogs ages 6 months and older at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley (2323 55th St., Boulder; 303-442- 4030 or ) is half-price through Tuesday. The fee includes spay/neuter, a microchip, collar and tag, initial vaccinations and an exam. Dogs can be placed on a 24-hour hold for a $15 nonrefundable fee. And the Dumb Friends League continues its $50 adoption fee promotion for all cats and dogs through June 30 at both of its shelters. Spring reading The Jefferson County Library Foundation and Friends present the annual Spring Whale of a Book Sale, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and June 4 and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 5.
