A woman who died Thursday in a Denver assisted-living home has been identified.
The body of Laura Emery, 46, was found about 2:30 a.m. Thursday at 2420 W. Wesley Ave., according to the Denver medical examiner’s office.
The coroner’s office did not release a cause or manner of death. Denver police investigators said Emery was the victim of a “violent attack.”
Investigators believe Emery was targeted and the attack was not random. Police have not released any information on a possible motive or suspect.
