DENVER—Denver Police announced a suspect in the abduction of an 8-year-old girl last week.
Authorities said they’re looking for 27-year-old Bret Lee Luckett Thompson. They’ve obtained an arrest warrant accusing him of kidnapping and sexually assaulting the girl.
Denver’s chief if investigations, David Fisher, says police do not know if Thompson is in the area.
Police say the girl was kidnapped Thursday afternoon while she was with friends. An hour and a half later, the girl was found about 3 miles away at a gas station.
