Police are looking for a man they say inappropriately touched a 20-year-old woman in Boulder Wednesday night.
At 7 p.m., the woman was sitting on the front porch of her home in the 1700 block of Marine Street, according to a news release from the Boulder Police Department.
The woman said a man approached her and asked for a cigarette. When she said she did not have one the man started rubbing her legs while making sexually inappropriate comments.
She repeatedly told the man to leave. The man left and was last seen walking on 17th Street near Boulder High School.
The man told the woman he was from Santa Cruz, Calif., and was staying at a local hotel. He said his name was Andrew and had recently been released from jail.
The man is described as 20 to 25 years old, 6 feet 1 inches tall with an athletic build and weighing about 250 pounds. He has “buzz-cut” light brown hair.
He was wearing a white T-shirt with a multi-colored marijuana leaf on the front, khaki cargo shorts and flip flops.
Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Colleen Wilcox at 303-441-4483 or the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or 1-800-444-3776.
