FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A Larimer County sheriff’s deputy has been arrested on several misdemeanor charges, including drunken driving and domestic violence.

Fort Collins police officials say 42-year-old Daniel Bush was arrested early Wednesday after officers responded to a report that he sent his ex-wife harassing text messages. Police say Bush sent the messages after having an argument with her.

Police say Bush also faces possible charges of prohibited use of a weapon and harassment. The sheriff’s office says Bush has been placed on administrative leave and an internal investigation will be conducted.
