Evergreen Energy Inc. today announced Thomas H. Stoner, Jr. will resign as CEO effective July 1 but will remain a member of the board of directors.
Executive board chairman Ilyas Khan will act as interim CEO while the company evaluates replacement efforts.
“I believe it is time for me to step aside and for the company to build out a management team with more relevant experience in the coal upgrading and beneficiation business,” Stoner said.
