The aspen-shrouded slopes and small town charm that make for ‘Ski Town USA’ during winter turn Steamboat Springs into ‘Bike Town USA’ in summer – 600 miles of singletrack trails, countless scenic back roads, and for the next 30 days, new condos with world-class amenities at prices reduced to $129,000 for a nicely appointed studio, fully furnished with custom options…to $325,000 for a huge 2-bedroom.

“This is a chance to access amazing biking options for all ability levels close to your door, within a welcoming resort community unlike any other,” says Kerry Shea, Sales & Marketing Director. “To top it off, you get to come home and relax in one of your three grotto-style hot tubs. Now that’s the full biking experience.”

The package becomes even more alluring in winter, when First Tracks owners find themselves with ski-in, ski-out access to one of the world’s finest ski mountains, via the new Wildhorse Gondola.

In 2009 Shea’s company, Resort Ventures West, made a successful conversion of First Tracks from a deed-restricted concept to units that rapidly sold on the open market. The first building sold out in 2010; and Resort Ventures West now has a second Hahn Building under way, already approaching 50% sold, that has some of the best mountain views yet to be offered, still available. “Those 2-bedroom prices are now around $60,000 less than we’d scheduled to market,” says Shea. Buyers also qualify for a custom furniture incentive — choose your own theme from pre-selected packages, available on units sold by July 15.

Meanwhile, Steamboat’s lineup of cycling events spans the entire summer – starting this Tuesday when Bicycle Tour of Colorado comes through town; then on to Tour de Steamboat July 16, and climaxing in August with the USA Pro Cycling Challenge. “People come to Steamboat for the winters but stay for the summers,” says sales rep and U.S. Olympian skier Bobby Aldighieri. “With Steamboat just a few hours away from the Front Range, it’s a magical experience accessible year round.”

…Not to mention the other attractions that come with Steamboat – the golf, fishing, hiking, pro-rodeo, and Strings Music Festival, a few blocks from Wildhorse Meadows. Shea notes the Athletic Club with pools and other amenities are already complete, debt free. First Tracks at Wildhorse Meadows is open today and next week through the weekend, at the Mt. Werner/Ski Area exit on U.S. 40, east of downtown. Call toll-free 877-886-7772; ask about special financing at low rates.
