Denver police arrested two people tonight after a man was stabbed five times in the 1400 block of Poplar Street.
“It appears to be a domestic violence situation,” said Denver police Lt. Matt Murray.
The man was in critical condition at Denver Health Medical Center, Murray said. Police were called at 7:20 p.m.
No names have been released. Murray said he did not yet know if the incident happened on the street or in a residence. An apartment building occupies the address.
