Colorado’s mountain casinos posted a 1.4 percent drop in revenue in May compared with the same month a year ago, according to data released Thursday.
The state’s casinos recorded adjusted gross proceeds, which is total bets minus payouts, of $65.7 million last month, down from $66.6 million in May 2010.
Casinos in Central City posted a slight uptick to $5.9 million from $5.5 million. Black Hawk casinos posted a drop to $48.5 million from $49.2 million. Cripple Creek dropped to $11.3 million from $11.9 million.
