Children’s Hospital announced Wednesday that it is immediately changing its name to Children’s Hospital Colorado, or Children’s Colorado for short.
The hospital said that with a network of 16 care locations, including the main campus in Aurora, and more than 400 clinics in Colorado and surrounding states, about 30 percent of the patients treated at Children’s Colorado come from outside the Denver metro area.
“Our new name will help distinguish the hospital and its national reputation from other children’s hospitals across the country,” said Amy Casseri, chief strategy officer for Children’s Colorado.
