A 69-year-old man was rescued on a hiking trail in Larimer County Tuesday afternoon after he fell and injured his leg.
At 1:55 p.m., rescue crews received a 911 call about an injured hiker on the Grey Rock trail, according to a news release from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
The Fort Collins man, who was hiking with two friends, fell on the trail about 1.5 miles from the trailhead.
Larimer County Emergency Services and the Larimer County Search and Rescue Team responded to the call.
Rescue crews carried the man to the trailhead and he was taken to the hospital at 4:55 p.m.
The man’s name and condition were not released.
