Locals who are passionate about seeing Denver and Colorado become a place where the fashion industry thrives can participate in a town hall meeting and panel discussion from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. Friday at Colorado Arts Center Inc.- CACI, 841 Santa Fe Drive. Sponsored by Justice Kwesi Kwarteng’s JTA Group, the event will feature local professionals including designers, photographers, models, hair stylists, makeup artists, stylists and consultants, boutique owners, and those in advertising, public relations, manufacturing and fabric supply. “There’s a big demand for fashion events here, but if Denver is going to be poised to be a creative capital, we have to raise our level of professionalism,” Kwarteng says.
