Federal agents are enhancing and reviewing mall security videos for information about who left two explosive devices inside a Colorado Mills bookstore in Lakewood early Saturday.
No information about suspects has been released as the FBI works on surveillance video “to clean it up,” said spokesman Dave Joly on Sunday.
Two “small, crude devices” were found inside the Borders store after someone smashed the glass door to the store and set off burglar alarms about 12:40 a.m. Saturday.
The devices went off but caused minimal damage and no damage at all to the mall. No one was injured. Borders reopened Sunday after being closed Saturday for the probe.
9News reported Sunday that evidence was found outside the store after the initial investigation Saturday, but authorities have not elaborated on what that evidence was. Joly said it was not an explosive.
