LAKEWOOD, Colo.—A man suspected of planting two suspicious devices at a Lakewood bookstore was convicted five years ago of detonating a dry-ice bomb outside a Glendale strip club.

Police say 30-year-old David Joseph Lawless was arrested Saturday on charges of drunken driving and resisting arrest after an accident in Clear Creek County west of Denver and is being held in jail there.

Lawless hasn’t been charged with anything related to the devices found at the Borders bookstore in Lakewood, but police have identified him as their only suspect.

According to the Denver Post, Lawless was arrested for possession of an incendiary device and illegal weapon possession in Glendale in 2005. He was sentenced to two years’ probation in 2006.

Police detonated the devices found at the bookstore but haven’t released any details about them.
