GREELEY — Sentencing for a former Mountain View Fire Protection District firefighter — described in court documents as having a “diaper fetish” — was delayed so the Weld County Corrections Board could review his case.
Jesse Hodgson, 37, pleaded guilty in April to one count of attempted sexual assault, a felony, and two misdemeanor counts of unlawful sexual contact and indecent exposure.
One of the counts involves his 11-year-old stepdaughter who, investigators say, was instructed by Hodgson to put on adult diapers.
He then forced her to watch him urinate in his own diaper before telling her to change him.
A second victim, a female relative, told police Hodgson assaulted her while she was intoxicated after a Memorial Day party last year while he was wearing an adult diaper.
A third victim later came forward to report Hodgson had unlawful sexual contact with her while she was babysitting Hodgson’s son.
Hodgson was a spokesman for the Mountain View Fire Protection District, which is based near Longmont and serves southwest Weld County, southeast Boulder County, Niwot and the towns of Mead, Erie and Dacono.
Hodgson was put on paid administrative leave when the charges were filed. He is free on $75,000 bail.
Weld District Judge Todd Taylor said Thursday he wanted to wait on a review of Hodgson’s case by the corrections board before he sentenced Hodgson.
He faces a maximum of three years in prison. Prosecutor Hollie Wilkinson said at least one of the victims in the case was “disappointed” by the delay.
Hodgson’s sentencing has been rescheduled for July 15.
