Rain and showers are likely in the Denver metro area until midnight as warm air brings turbulent weather to the Front Range and plains for a second night in a row.
A third day of wet, turbulent weather could be in store Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
The city could see fog and isolated showers, with a 40 percent chance of precipitation, and a high of 87 degrees tomorrow, forecasters said.
The area has a 30 percent chance of rain Friday and Saturday, as highs climb back to the 90-degree range.
Rain chances diminish next week and daily highs remain in the 90s, according to the forecast.
A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. for Adams, Arapahoe. Bent, Cheyenne, Crowley, Elbert, El Paso, Kiowa. Kit Carson, Lincoln, Logan, Morgan, Otero, Phillips,Prowers, Pueblo, Sedgwick, Washington, Weld and Yuma counties.
A flood advisory is in effect until 11 p.m. Thursday for southeastern Grand County, as rain fills creeks already running high with snowmelt, the Weather Service said.
A flood advisory also is in effect until noon Thursday in south-central Larimer County near Estes Park as heavy rain in the high country swells the Big Thompson River.
