Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy they say stabbed his mother Wednesday in a home near Evergreen.
Several deputies and police dogs searched door-to-door for the teenager and found him about 4 p.m., down the street from where the crime occurred, in the 7700 block of Red Fox Drive, said Jacki Kelley, spokeswoman for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. The victim was airlifted to the hospital. Police did not have an update on her condition Wednesday.
