Police this morning identified the suspect involved in a shooting in Denver’s Westwood neighborhood.
Marcus Coomber, 19, is being held in the Denver jail on suspicion of attempted murder, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
Coomber is suspected of shooting another man in the face.
The incident happened about noon Wednesday in the 4300 block of West Exposition Avenue, Jackson said.
The suspect and victim, who police describe as acquaintances, had a verbal argument, which escalated and led to the shooting.
The victim remains in a local hospital in critical condition.
Police have not released information on what the pair were arguing about.
