A teenager was shot by deputies Thursday in Walsenburg, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The Alamosa Sheriff’s Office told KKTV-TV that the 14-year-old’s parents called them after he drove away in their van.
The teen sped away when spotted near Alamosa but eventually crashed into a Huerfano County sheriff’s car in Walsenberg. At that point, the teenager was wounded, but no further details were available.
