AURORA — A man was shot and killed near a car wash early Sunday morning.
Police said they received a call about an aggravated assault with a gun in the 3100 block of Peoria Street about 4 a.m.
When officers arrived, they did not find the victim but found his car in a self-service car wash bay.
Officers later learned that acquaintances took the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have not yet released the victim’s identity.
