On Monday, a patron took the 100,000th ride of the season on one of the city’s shared red bikes. The program hit the milestone in less than five months this year, compared with seven months during its inaugural season last year.
So far this year, B-cyclers have ridden 205,000 miles, with an average ride of 2.05 miles.
