A man wanted in connection with two armed robberies in the past week turned himself into Colorado Springs Police Monday afternoon.

According to police, Nathan Davis, 41, walked into the Gold Hill Division of the department, 825 N. Nevada Ave., carrying a gun and turned himself in. He was arrested on an outstanding traffic warrant.

Davis was wanted in connection with an armed robbery about 12:15 p.m. Sunday at Lots A’ Liquor, 2308 N. Wahsatch Ave. During that robbery, the robber made a small purchase and then pulled out a semiautomatic gun and demanded cash before fleeing.

The second robbery in which Davis is a suspect happened about 10:10 p.m. Wednesday when a robber walked into the Farmcrest Milk Store, 2129 Templeton Gap Road, with a gun and demanded cash. The store employee was forced to the ground and the robber ran away.
