Hops for Habitat
It’s enough that Friday’s Hops for Habitat event features beers from across the state plus snacks to soak it up with and live music. But the punch line is even better: Proceeds go to the Plains Conservation Center, to help preserve Colorado’s gorgeous (and too-often unsung) natural grasslands. Dragon Boat Festival
The 11th annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival takes over Sloan’s Lake Saturday and Sunday. Lots of activities, performances, boat races and, most important: tons of Asian food. Grab the fam, and make a day of it. Tip: Park at Invesco Field; ride a free shuttle to the lake.

The original “It” girl was America’s top box-office draw in 1928 and 1929, then chucked it all in 1933 to move to Nevada to live on a ranch. She’d be 106 on Friday. Anyone for a Hollywood cocktail?
Hollywood Cocktail
Makes 1 drink.
Ingredients
1 1/2 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce raspberry liqueur
Pineapple juice
Maraschino cherry
Directions
Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour the vodka and raspberry liqueur over ice, stir, and fill with pineapple juice. Garnish with maraschino cherry.
