Singer-songwriter Cass McCombs has released another track off of his upcoming album “Big Wheel and Others,” featuring the late singer/actress Karen Black. The song “Brighter!” is the second released track from McCombs’ upcoming seventh LP (due out on Oct. 15), and is “dedicated to the memory of Karen Black,” who was featured on “Dreams Come True Girl” from the album “Catacombs” (2009).
McCombs his first track from the upcoming album, in late August.
Along with the new song, McCombs has announced world tour dates, which includes a stop at the Walnut Room in Denver on Nov. 19. Fans will anticipate the nomadic rock/folk/punk artist’s show, as McCombs has not performed in the mile-high city since November of 2012.
