ATLANTA — Three siblings who authorities say shot up a police car in Florida and robbed a bank in Georgia were on the loose Thursday and likely carrying an assault rifle and other weapons.

A federal magistrate in Macon, Ga., issued arrest warrants for Ryan Edward Dougherty, 21; Stanley Dylan Dougherty, 26; and Grace Lee E. Dougherty, 29.

The three entered a Valdosta, Ga., bank Tuesday, fired shots into the ceiling and demanded money, the FBI in Atlanta said.

At least two of the robbers had weapons, including an AK-47-type assault rifle and the other appearing to be an automatic pistol, the FBI said. They grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and left in a white 2006 Subaru Impreza with New York license plate FBE-5900.

Earlier that morning, a police officer in Zephyrhills, Fla., tried to pull the group over for speeding, the FBI said. One of the suspects shot at the police cruiser, disabling it. The officer was not injured, the FBI said.
