The culmination of six months of hard work was a wild success for a Boy Scout who decided to plan a big party to earn his Eagle Scout Badge.

“Unbelievable! I’ve lived here eight years, and we’ve never had anything like this before. One guy can do all that? Wonderful!” George Bock exclaimed.

For him and other residents at the Porter Place Retirement Community, it had been years since they had last attended a prom.

Behind every good party is a busy party planner. For this event, it was 14-year-old Andrew Fisk.

Fisk coordinated the volunteers (fellow members of Troop 113), and raised $2,500 for the decorations, band, food, and even prizes that were raffled off. The party-goers were delighted.
