Weakening U.S. and global economic performance lowered the Vectra Bank Small Business Index for Colorado to 113.6 in July from a revised 115.4 in June.

Jeff Thredgold, economist for Vectra Bank Colorado, said the strength of the Colorado economy is being held back by “external political and economic developments.”
