POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — A poll released a month before the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks found that worry about another terrorist assault in New York City is at its lowest point.
The NY1-Marist Poll released Thursday found 49 percent of the New York City residents surveyed were concerned there might be another attack, 32 percent were “worried” and 17 percent were “very worried.” The poll found that 53 percent felt their lives had returned to normal since the attacks, while 36 percent said their lives would never be the same.
The July 20-27 phone poll of 808 adults has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
