Getting your player ready...

Troy Tulowitzki will be hard-pressed to win National League MVP honors, given his team’s underwhelming season. But he appears a lock for his second consecutive Rawlings Gold Glove. Tulo has been charged with just four errors, and made one of his most impressive plays of the season in the sixth inning, backhanding a ball and throwing off-balance to nail Lance Berkman at the plate.

Cat-like reflexes:

Berkman, known as the “Big Puma,” has hit safely in 18 of the last 20 games. He doubled and scored in the second inning.

The down Lohse:

Kyle Loshe has beaten the Rockies twice this season. He was 9-15 when starting on six days’ rest or more before Friday’s victory.
