Denver police are asking the public to help them find the person who shot and killed a 24-year-old custodian last week.

Manuel Amaro-Rojas was driving home from work downtown when he crashed his green 1998 Hyundai Elantra about 2:20 a.m. Thursday.

An autopsy showed that Amaro-Rojas died from a “perforating gunshot wound” that passed through his right arm and into his chest, the coroner’s office said.

Denver police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 720-913-2000 or to call Crime Stoppers, where they can remain anonymous, at 720-913-7867. Callers should reference case number 2011-355209.
