AMERICAN BLUE RIBBON HOLDINGS: Appointed Jennifer Sanning as chief marketing officer for the company’s restaurant brands: Village Inn, Bakers Square and Max & Erma’s. Sanning also will handle menu development and culinary direction. She formerly was CMO at Rainbow Rewards.

AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR RADIATION ONCOLOGY: Dr. Brian Kav anagh, professor and vice chairman of radiation oncology with the University of Colorado School of Medicine, has been elected to the board of directors as one of two Health Policy Council representatives. Kav anagh will begin his four-year term in October.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BAR EXECUTIVES: Dana Collier Smith, the assistant executive director of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, began her term as president of the NABE.

UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO LAW SCHOOL: Todd Rogers will assume the position of assistant dean of career development, and Michael Spivey will fill the newly created position of assistant dean of outreach and engagement.

SLIFER DESIGNS: Named Shelly Getty manager of the new store in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, and Nina Velez will be assistant manager.

SHARKEY, HOWES & JAVER: Melissa Baldwin joined the firm as a financial-planning coordinator.

SKAL INTERNATIONAL: The Colorado chapter named Terryl Lofgren president; Marcie Laurit sen Mann, vice president; Roland Sardaczuk, treasurer; and Nicole Hunter, secretary.

CA TECHNOLOGIES: Announced that Griff Gengel has been named director, customer-portfolio management for the western region.

AVENTA CREDIT UNION: Appointed John Faries as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer.
