The University of Denver’s men’s basketball team was bolstered Monday with the announcement that forward Rob Lewis has been granted an extra year of eligibility because of injury.
A back injury sidelined Lewis for all of last season. At 6-foot-7, Lewis gives the Pioneers an experienced presence on the baseline. In his first three seasons, Lewis scored 884 points, collected 398 rebounds and gave out 154 assists.
Lewis is in a master’s degree program at DU.
